Bitter Medicine
More often than not, it's yourself you're lying to, not others
This was the truth that I had to face to turn my life around.
I clung to fantasies that shielded my ego, yet they stunted my growth. I believed I was a victim in the world, blind to the opportunities in front of me.
Our beliefs shape our reality and sometimes we have to take the bitter medicine of self-reflection to truly make a shift in life.
The medicine is bitter but it heals you and everyone around you.
It's important to remember that you have an impact on the people around you, even the strangers you interact with are affected by how you carry yourself.
Take the medicine now because the disease of victimhood and cynicism will only spread.
Become a beacon of light for those still stuck in the darkness
