Life gains profound meaning when we're there for the ones we love.

Providing emotional support is an honor, yet seeking it during our own struggles can be a challenge.

This is something that I have struggled with my entire life, I worry about being a burden on those around me.

But I am learning that if you don't open up opportunities for support from others, you inevitably isolate yourself

I recently went through a rough time and decided I needed to reach out to friends for support. This was deeply uncomfortable and scary.

To my pleasant surprise my friends went out of their way to envelop me in love and support. The overwhelming sense of care I felt then still moves me to tears.

At the heart of this artwork is the mutual embrace of two souls, providing solace through individual and shared suffering

This artwork serves as a reminder that my loneliness at times stems from not permitting others to show deep concern for my well-being
